Students seeking real-world experience will find an environment of respect, teamwork and innovation. We are aligned with the Foundry Educational Foundation (FEF) and through that program we offer recent college graduates employment in specialized technical positions. This keeps the best and brightest working for our customers.
Our Summer Help Program provides internships to college-age students to give an insight into the variety of work in the metal casting industry. Interns at ThyssenKrupp Waupaca will discover an environment where strong products are made stronger through teamwork and students who meet the following requirements are eligible. Students must be:- enrolled in college for the Fall 2012 semester
- considered a full time student (12 credits or more)
- 18 years or older
Those who meet the above requirements will be considered in the following order:
- Dependents of ThyssenKrupp employees who worked the summer of 2011 and have been recommended for rehire;
- Dependents of ThyssenKrupp employees who did not work for ThyssenKrupp during the summer of 2011;
- Those who are not dependents of ThyssenKrupp employees but worked the summer of 2011 and have been recommended for rehire;
- All other applicants.
Students interested in applying for temporary summer help at one of our foundry locations may pickup and submit an application form at a Plant nearest you before March 30, 2012.Offers will be mailed to students in Mid April.
